What, you don't think bronchospasms and coughing up blood-speckled phlegm the consistency of bread pudding are sexy? You should see my abs, hon. Dunno if all that coughing could actually visibly strengthen your abs, but my muscles hurt all over from coughing pretty much 24/7 for like 8 days straight. It's probably mostly from losing weight b/c I was too sick to eat really, but seriously, I caught myself coughing in the mirror this morning and was like, whoa, I've got a 6-pack. Check it out, I managed to pack in 4 adjectives in that last sentence, and also used 2 adjectives next to each other, twice, in the last 2 sentences. And 7 numerals in the last 3 sentences.
Those of you who were paying attention, and who get TW cable, the program info for tonight's Frontline said, "Economists discuss Wal-Mart and its reliability on Chinese imports." Who writes these things? I once read a Law & Order one that said "A crime is committed." or something like that. Ha.
I really need to quit smoking. Can y'all just tell me to quit smoking? I had set my 35th birthday as my quit date, but how about either my 35th birthday, or if 100 people tell me to quit smoking, whichever comes first. I'll keep a tally.

quit smoking already. I worked in oncology. Lung cancer ain't pretty. Sorry...it's not. do urself a favor sweetie!

Quit smoking and get a TB test. Blood in sputum bad.

I know...I interned at a hospice in college, and over 75% of the patients were there for lung cancer. Be damned if I can't leave a prettier corpse than those folks...
