Daughter and I walked to the post office today after school.
On the way there she said, "Mom, I am not a follower."

So i said, "What do you mean you are not a follower?"

And she smiled and said, "I like to be in control."

!!!!!

Silence.

"Ummm, well", I said "it's good that you know that. Kinda young to know that, but ok."

And she turned and said, "Yeah well, that's me. I like control."

I am in such big trouble.
